WeedPLUS® is a 100% environmental friendly hot water weed control technique
With the WeedPLUS® hot water weed control technique, weeds are controlled by overheating the weed plant without the use of pesticides. WeedPLUS® is available as an option on the High-pressure trailers, Trailerjet-M/L and Trailerpacks.
How does WeedPLUS® work?
Fighting weeds with WeedPLUS® is possible everywhere. With the spray head and spray bar on wheels, it is possible to work extremely selectively and there is no collateral damage.
Because the working speed is up to 30% higher than other alternative weed control methods and because up to 60% fewer treatments are required, WeedPLUS® is also economically the best alternative.
What can I do with it?
- Effective control of weeds up to a maximum of 2000 m² per hour
- Working quickly and efficiently: 2 to 4 km / hour, in combination with the 50 cm wide stainless steel spray bar
- Treat weeds very precisely with the spray brush, without causing collateral damage to other vegetation
WeedPLUS® hot water weeds control, proven to be most effective
Weed control with hot water has been researched by the University of Copenhagen (research by Prof. P. Kristoffersen) and is clearly the most effective alternative weed control method (see diagram below).
Conclusion:
Only 4 treatments per year (compared to 8 treatments with hot air / burning)
Substantially lower weeds percentage throughout the year (compared to all other methods)
